More specifically, North American badger. I hope to someday have a European badger, and African Honey Badger. (Yes, "Honey badger don't care!" is a personal favorite.)
Soon I'll have a "normal" badger to sit with this guy so I will get some photos of the two together to show you what is really wrong with this guy. This poor fellow had a severe sinus infection on the left side in the air canal. It actually -ate through- the bone at the back of the ear canal while this animal still lived. Must've been crazy painful, poor guy! See that hole next to my thumb, on the lower left? Yeah...that shouldnt' be there.

Man, check out those teeth! I had no idea a sinus infection could get that bad o-o So relieved I always took medication for mine <xD Poor badger!!
